crochet the day away…
I come from a long line of crafty people. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of watching my grandmother knit. She patiently taught me many crafty skills from embroidery to sewing.
In 2001, I found myself with a lot of free time on my hands. My husband was suddenly traveling more for work and I was home searching for a full-time teaching job. To help occupy my time in between substitute teaching, laundry and resumes I decided to take up crochet again. After five years as a reading teacher, I am currently a stay at home mom to three terrific daughters. They inspire me and my creations.
After years of sharing my creations with friends and family I have been encouraged to share my creations with the rest of the world which are now featured here and on Ravelry.
