Brrr! Jack Frost is visiting my neck of the woods and it’s been chilly.  I have been getting much wear out of my infinity scarves/cowls. Wish I could take credit for this pattern.  After finding it my first thought was “why didn’t I think of that?”  The creator did a fabulous job of making waves using singles and doubles in back loops only.  You can find her free pattern here on Ravelry, three-hour Catesby Cowl.


  • hook size: K (aka 6.5mm or #10 1/2)
  • yarn used: 1 skein Caron Simply Soft, grey heather
  • The pattern uses UK terms dc and tr, US translation is dc=sc (single crochet) & tr=dc (double crochet)
